Speech Pathologist

Full-time Role

Are you an energetic, engaging, and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist? We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our Adapt and Learn team located in Brisbane, Logan, and Scenic Rim.  You’ll join a new and exciting team and have the chance to make a real and tangible difference in the lives of our clients, helping them reach their absolute potential! 

Collaboration is a huge aspect of our multidisciplinary service, where we come up with innovative and effective strategies and treatment plans for our clients. Get ready to provide individual therapy sessions and have a blast with group and joint therapy sessions with other professionals where therapeutically appropriate.

  • Show off your skills in providing high-quality evidence-based assessment and treatment in various practice areas. From Augmentative and Alternative Communication to Autism Spectrum Disorders, language development, speech sound disorders, and literacy.
  • Let your creativity shine as you deliver strength-based interventions through play, helping our clients develop their communication skills. And don’t worry, you’ll have regular supervision and plenty of professional development opportunities.
  • Work closely with clients and their families to set goals and develop intervention plans that seamlessly fit into their daily routines.

Are you intuitive, energetic, and enthusiastic? Do you love engaging with children through play? Do you have a flexible mindset and appreciate a wide range of therapeutic approaches? If so, you’ll fit right in with our fun and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with pediatric clients.
  • A proven track record of positive interactions with children who have disabilities or face complex challenges in a professional environment.
  • A deep understanding and use of neurodiversity-affirmative practices.
  • Bonus points if you have experience delivering services under the NDIS.
  • Extra bonus points if you’ve worked with early intervention, children, and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders like Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and ADHD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working with Children and NDIS Workers’ Clearance checks.
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain.
